Tibet's Location

Tibet is a province in China, where is local in the highest plateau in the world.
The plateau is named by the tibet province.
because it's highest elevation, it also name "Roof of the world"
Because it's every cold tempreture, it also be call"third episode"

Tibet's History

According to the legend of Tibetan primitive religion "Bon", Tibet's earliest state power was named Xiangxiong.

In the 7th century, Songtsen Gampo lead his tribe unified the hole Tibet and set up the Tubo Dynasty.

The Tubo Kingdom collapsed in the second half of the ninth century; it entered the split period of four hundred years.

In this unified and peaceful environment, Tibet's culture and art have developed, creating its own words - Tibetan, and its own religion - Tibetan Buddhism.
Tibetan Buddhism gradually became the center of Tibetan cultural thought.

After the establishment of the Yuan Dynasty in the middle of the 13th century,
Hu Bi Lie(Kublai) established the Xuanzheng Yuan(Bureau of Buddhist and Tibetan Affairs), to let Ba Si Ba(Drogön Chogyal Phagpa) take charge of Tibet affairs,
thus establishing a unified political and religious regime in Tibet for 500 years.

In 1720, the Qing Dynasty began to station troops in Tibet and set up a system of ministers in Tibet.
In the middle of the 18th century, the Qing court established the Tibet Official Office called Shuxia.

In 1912, the Qing Dynasty was destroyed and China established the Republic of China.
At the end of 1912, Tibet was controlled. The 13th Dalai Lama declared his rule over Tibet,
which is generally considered to be the source of the Tibetan independence movement.

LIn 1950, the People's Republic of China and Tibet signed the "17-Article Agreement", officially including Tibet into the People's Republic of China.

After the riots in the Tibetan area in 1959, the 14th Dalai Lama led Ten thousand people people to leave Tibet and built the Tibetan government in exile in Dharamsala, India.
